And if Disney's other parks are anything to go by, we're guessing there'll be a huge variety of Star Wars-themed restaurants with dishes just waiting to be Instagrammed. Running since 2009, the D23 Expo offers exclusive experiences for Disney fanatics, including sneak peaks of upcoming films, celebrity appearances, and previews of upcoming attractions at its parks. However, another major announcement has to do specifically with the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. The film, which is an epic adventure takes audiences across dimensions of time and space, examining the nature of darkness versus light and ultimately, the triumph of love.
Bob Chapek, chairman of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, described it as completely immersive, where each guest will get a storyline that will "touch every single minute of your day".
Locations in Cork, Kerry, Clare and Donegal will feature in the film to represent the planet Ahch-To. Carrie Fisher also describes that the movie is about "family".
